home.jpgThe Public Land Use project at Indiana State University is dedicated to involving faculty, students, and members of the community, including secondary social studies and science teachers in the informed analysis of public land use issues across the United States and the world.  As part of the Public Land Use program, ISU, through it's Center for Economic Education offers affordable high quality, comprehensive, field based study trips to locations where conflicts over public land use are common.  Currently the project is taking teachers to Yellowstone National Park, but is planning to extend the project to other destinations in the future.

This is a great professional development opportunity for secondary teachers who are interested in the science, economics, and political concepts and processes inherent in many public land use conflicts.  Please check the site for future workshops.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact John.Conant@huangweishengzhubao.com.
